Solarkit SKK203 IBS

For the touring vehicles we have developed our own IBS solar technology to be glued to the roof of the touring vehicles and especially for the vehicles with a pop-up roof.

The SKK203 product family offers a lot of power with 203Wp and makes optimal use of the vehicle roof width. This is the latest Swiss Meyer Burger heterojunction technology (solar pioneer from Thun) with a very high degree of efficiency. The best performance of the solar system is achieved in combination with an MPPT solar controller, which delivers 20% more output compared to a classic PWM solar controller.Thanks to the high cell voltage, a high solar output is still achieved even at very high roof temperatures.

The solar technology is ultra flat and light and does not change the weight or height of the vehicle. 

In combination with vehicles with IBS-DBM20A charging booster, we do not recommend the IBS-DBM20AS version (with integrated 10A

Solar controller) but the version IBS-DBM20A without solar controller to use the solar kit SKK203 + with the MPPT solar controller supplied. If an IBS-DBM20AS is already installed, the SKK203- can still be used, but the maximum performance is not achieved.

The solar kit SKK203- can also be combined with other MPPT solar controllers such as EPEVER (available from IBS) or MPPT Büttner (available from IBS). A special step-up MPPT solar controller GVB-8-Li-28.4V (for lithium on-board battery) is available from Genasun for the use of 24V batteries.
